StorySafari Terms of Service

By downloading, accessing, or using StorySafari ("StorySafari," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

Using StorySafari

StorySafari helps families create personalized illustrated stories. You are responsible for your use of the app and website, for the information you submit, and for making sure children use the service with appropriate parent or guardian involvement.

Accounts, subscriptions, and payments

Some StorySafari features may require an account, purchase, subscription, or other payment. Purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund rules. You can manage App Store subscriptions through your Apple account settings.

We may change available features, pricing, subscriptions, or paid services. We will make pricing clear before charging for a paid feature.

Story content

You may submit names, ideas, photos, characters, settings, and other details to create stories. You are responsible for having the right to submit that content. Do not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, infringing, or violates another person's privacy.

StorySafari may generate text and illustrations based on your inputs. Generated content may be imperfect, unexpected, or occasionally inaccurate. Parents and guardians should review stories before sharing, printing, or reading them with children.

Ownership and license

StorySafari, the app, website, branding, software, templates, and related intellectual property belong to StorySafari and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or extract source code from the app except as allowed by law.

You grant StorySafari the rights needed to operate the service, including to process inputs, generate stories and illustrations, store stories, display shared stories, and fulfill print orders when you request those features.

Sharing and printed books

If you share a story link, anyone with that link may be able to view the shared story. If you order a printed book, information needed to fulfill that order may be shared with print and shipping service providers.

Availability and updates

Some features require an internet connection and may not work if connectivity is unavailable. We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. You are responsible for device, data, roaming, and carrier charges that may apply while using the app.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse StorySafari, interfere with the service, attempt to access systems without permission, use the service to create unlawful or harmful content, or violate the rights, privacy, or safety of others.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

StorySafari is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep the service useful, safe, and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or meet every expectation.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, StorySafari will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to StorySafari if you violate these terms or if we need to protect the service, users, or our rights. You may stop using StorySafari at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated terms on this page and update the date above.
