Princess and her unicorn settled beside their moonlight picnic. Then a playful gust lifted the cloth, sending napkins, cups, and treats skittering along the forest path.

Princess spotted a line of giggling fireflies above the path. “They’re showing us where our picnic things went!” she said, and the unicorn followed.

The fireflies led them onward. Together, they found a cup nestled safely in a fern, and Princess carried it carefully.

A second gust rolled the cup ahead. Princess and the unicorn chased it into a calm glade, where broad leaves and twigs gathered.

Princess looked at the scattered leaves. “We can make a shelter,” she said, choosing a cozy spot to keep their picnic from blowing away again.

The unicorn steadied a twig frame while Princess wove broad leaves through it. Soon, their snug shelter blocked the playful wind.

With the wind softened, Luma and the fireflies led them to a napkin and treats resting at the glade’s edge. Princess gathered them carefully.

A flutter lifted the napkin again. It landed in the unicorn’s pastel rainbow mane and tied itself into a silly little knot.

Princess gently loosened the knot while the unicorn stood still. When the napkin slipped free, they laughed together and returned it to the picnic.

Princess opened the shelter wide. “Bring one small thing to share!” she called, and the hedgehog, squirrel, and rabbit hurried closer.

The squirrel brought acorns, and the rabbit carried clover. The hedgehog rolled in with berry cups folded from leaves, making Princess beam.

Beneath the leafy shelter, friends shared the feast. Princess and the unicorn smiled as every new friend squeezed close beneath the moon.
