Dorothy lived on a quiet farm in Kansas with her Aunt Em, Uncle Henry, and her little dog, Toto. She loved running through the fields and dreaming of faraway places.

One day, the wind began to howl. A dark tornado twisted across the sky, and before Dorothy could escape, it picked up the entire house—with her and Toto inside!

The house spun and twirled through the clouds. Dorothy held Toto tightly, wondering where they were going and if they'd ever come back home.

With a sudden thump, the house landed. When Dorothy opened the door, everything had changed. The world outside was colorful, bright, and full of magic.

A kind Good Witch appeared in a swirl of sparkles. "Welcome to the land of Oz," she said. "You've just saved the Munchkins from the Wicked Witch of the East!"

Dorothy was amazed, but all she wanted was to go home. "Follow the yellow brick road to the Emerald City," said the Good Witch. "There, the Wizard of Oz can help you."

Dorothy set off on the yellow brick road. Soon, she met a friendly Scarecrow who wished he had a brain. "Come with me," said Dorothy. "Maybe the Wizard can help you too!"

Farther down the road, they found a Tin Man frozen still. After Dorothy helped oil his joints, he whispered, "I wish I had a heart." "Join us!" said the Scarecrow.

Next, a Cowardly Lion jumped out of the bushes—but he was more scared than scary! "I need courage," he said shyly. "Then let's all go see the Wizard together," said Dorothy.

The four friends walked along the yellow brick road. They laughed, shared stories, and promised to help each other no matter what.

At last, they reached the Emerald City. It sparkled with green light, and the gates opened wide just for them.

Inside, they met the great Wizard of Oz—a giant floating head in a cloud of smoke. "Who dares ask for my help?" he boomed.

Dorothy stepped forward. "Please, I want to go home." The Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Lion each asked for what they needed too.

The Wizard thundered, "I will help you—but first, bring me the broom of the Wicked Witch of the West!"

So, the four friends journeyed deep into a dark forest. It was scary, but they stayed brave and stuck together.

When they reached the Witch's castle, she tried to stop them with fire, flying monkeys, and terrible spells.

But together, the friends were strong. The Lion found his roar, the Scarecrow made a clever plan, and Dorothy bravely splashed the Witch with water—melting her away!

They brought the broomstick back to the Wizard. "You've done well," he said. "Now it's time for your rewards."

The Wizard gave the Scarecrow a diploma, the Tin Man a heart-shaped clock, and the Lion a medal of bravery. "And Dorothy," he said, "I will take you home in my hot air balloon!"

But oh no! The balloon lifted off before Dorothy could climb in. She watched it float away, heartbroken.

Suddenly, the Good Witch appeared again. "You've had the power to go home all along," she said kindly. "Just click your heels three times."

Dorothy clicked her ruby slippers and whispered, "There's no place like home…" The world began to spin once more.

When Dorothy opened her eyes, she was back in Kansas! Aunt Em and Uncle Henry ran to hug her tight. Toto barked and wagged his tail.

Dorothy smiled and held Toto close. "Oz was magical," she whispered, "but I'm glad to be home. Because there's no place like it."
