In the vast and starry night sky, The moon hung alone, wondering why.

"I light the night, but for whom?" it sighed, "In this vast dark, I'm alone," it cried.

In the darkness, a dove was lost, Searching for shelter, the cold winds tossed.

The little bird, was lost in flight, Its heart filled with worry and fright.

The Moon shone brighter, to show the way, Radiating hope, for the bird's disarray.

Guided by the moon's gentle light, The bird found its way home that night. The moon realized its purpose, its might!

The moon knew then and there, Its light was needed everywhere!

No longer did it feel so small, Its glow was important, after all.

Each night it beams with pride and grace, Knowing it has a special place.

The Moon above, no longer blue, Illuminates the night, for me and you.
