Princess Rosalina traded her castle slippers for muddy farm boots. On her first bright morning, she carried a basket of apples past the red barn to feed the animals.

The sheep bleated, the hens clucked, and Princess Rosalina smiled as she shared the apples. Then every animal suddenly turned toward the hayloft, where a tiny golden feather drifted down through the sunlight.

Princess Rosalina set down her apple basket and picked up the feather. A warm tickle ran through her fingers, and three neat hoofprints appeared in the dust, leading behind the barn.

The hoofprints stopped at a crooked gate beside the animal pen. Princess Rosalina pushed gently, but the gate sagged shut, so she searched the grass and found a bright red ribbon caught on a thorn.

The ribbon matched a loose tie on the gate. Princess Rosalina looped it around the latch, and the gate swung open—revealing a small lamb curled safely in the tall grass beyond.

Princess Rosalina carried the lamb back to the pen, but the golden feather began to glow in her palm. Its light pointed toward the red barn roof, where a soft flutter stirred the hay.

The farm animals crowd around Princess Rosalina before breakfast, their noses lifted toward the hill. One empty stall and a scattered feed basket show that someone—or something—needs help before the sun sets.

Princess Rosalina lifted the golden feather, and its warm glow swept across the dusty yard. The light stopped at a loose ladder leaning against the barn, while the animals gathered close to help.

The sheep pressed against the ladder’s feet while the cow steadied it with one broad shoulder. Princess Rosalina climbed carefully, following a trail of golden feathers toward the barn roof.

Behind the hayloft chimney, Princess Rosalina found Pip, a tiny baby goat tangled in a red feed sack. Pip had climbed too high and could not find the way down, but the feather’s glow showed Princess Rosalina where to tug.

The knot loosened, but the sack slid toward the roof’s edge! Princess Rosalina grabbed Pip’s red ribbon, and the waiting animals pulled the ladder close until both rescuer and goat reached a safe rung.

Back in the sunny yard, Pip nuzzled the empty stall, and every animal settled happily around him. Princess Rosalina tucked the golden feather into her basket, then shared the apples as the rescued goat’s tiny bell rang like a thank-you.
